I just defend myself. I do not mean to pick fights. I also have apologized to huskyhauler and I really do not have a problem with her. I have also tried to be nice and apologize to others but you all must have not read those posts or just want to keep things stirred up anyway. You all just keep it going. I just state my opinions and you are the ones who get upset and then in turn put me down, so yes, I get defensive.
This has to be the most rediculious post in the history of TP. I have read this since it started and have refrained from posting because you can't teach someone like Shiggs anything, your just wasting your time. Shiggs, you have said so many things on here that you contradict yourself and without any help from anyone else you are making yourself look like a liar. I feel sorry for your poor dogs, what a sad life they must have. And as far as you not wanting anyone to see your dogs, I guess you must be embarrassed of them and the conditions that they live in otherwise you would want people to see them so you could prove what nice dogs you have and how well you take care of them. I raise Toy Poodles and yes they are in my house, my house is clean, my dogs are clean. I am proud of my dogs and I'm always glad to share pictures of them if someone asks to see them, I don't hide them. Anyone could drop by my house unannounced at any time and I would welcome them in to look and play with my dogs. I'm PROUD of my dogs, I have nothing to hide.
PS. That story of your 1 dog having scars from playing/fighting with littermates is pretty hard to believe. I saw a baby Pit the other day and went over to see it, it was a sweet baby just like any other puppy, it wasn't a mean dog wanting to fight. I'm having a hard time picturing little puppies so fierce that they can permanently scar each other, if they are that mean at that age then shame on you for wanting to breed even more of them!

Chels, I do not have a problem with certain breeds being outside depending on what kind of care they receive. I live in ranch country and pretty much everyones dogs live outside, but they have free run of the entire ranch and wouldn't want to come in the house if they could, they also have unlimited amounts of things to keep them occupied. That is quite a bit different than a dog being kept tied up or couped up in a backyard it's whole life. Anyway, I wasn't even really talking to you when I posted, I don't usually get involved with all of the fussing that goes on, do I think your little short haired dogs shoud be inside? YES. And that's all I'm going to say about it. Basically I'm just pretty discusted with Shiggs and his "well taken care off" dogs that he won't let anyone see. If there is nothing to hide then why are you hiding??
I do not like dogs being tied out either. None of my dogs are tied out and they have room to run. We all play with them everyday, they get a lot of grooming, taken for walks, vet care ( they have more checkups than we do).
I apologize to everyone for being so fussy. If it makes me a bad owner, then I guess I am a bad owner. Sorry, I didn't know I was, I thought I did everything I could for my dogs. I am sorry that I am not as good as everyone else on here. I really and truly mean these things that I am saying.
