I have tried Ebay, and the pet stores, problem is, they are pricey!
But they are so cool. The zip shut, so if you are looking at it, you can't see what is in it, baby/pet? I am thinking this would enable me to take my hunnybunny's places like powwow's fleamarkets and such!
The AT3 is an all terrain, so it should work on those gravelly spots too. Of course my dogs can walk, but there are places I can't take them, but I would like to, so thats why I want it.
I got the Pet Gear Pink Happy Trails Stroller Plus for Tegan at Petsmart. They had one on display for $80.00 but I see if you order it online it's $109. I took her to our local flea market in it. Everyone wanted to stop me and ask me about the stroller and Tegan so if you don't have alot of time to spend at the flea market, don't take the stroller! Before I got Tegan's stroller, I had been kicking around the idea but just couldn't see myself actually buying one. That was until I saw someone else with a blue one at the flea market. I stopped them and asked them about it (yeah, I was one of those people too) and they were all too happy to tell me that it was so much easier taking their dog in the stroller. They even said they took him all over the outlet mall and had no problems. That was it....I had to have one! I really like it and do not regret buying it.
I have a stroller. I dont know the kind or anything... but I have found it helpful even when I dont have puppies. I have considered upgrading to a better model than what I have but I think I will wait until the puppies have a bit more bladder control.
Right now... with my Cinnamon gone, I keep the puppies in the stroller. Mine zips closed but you can see into it. But I live in a high mosquito area and dont want to let bugs get in and see them. Also, since I am taking them litterally everywhere I go now, it helps me restrict people bugging them and I dont have to wake them up every time I need to change location. I put the entire stroller with the puppies in it, fully assembled in the back seat of my car. The netting will also act as a containment ( car seat) should I get into an accident.
I would like one that has the puppy part a bit higher up. I would also like one that is more like a human stroller and I can put a "puppy bag" underneath that will hold their bottles and formula etc.
ALEXnKAI does it push easily? They have those quite reasonably on ebay, the AT3 just is an All Terain, however, if I could push it around nicely, I would be happy with any. Also in your opinion, would 2 , 15 lb schnauzers fit nicely in there? I may just get one of those! Thanks!
Ok guys~~Now you have *REALLY* made me want to get one. I think I am going to go take a look at them in person tomorrow at Petsmart. Not buy one there as there are likely better deals on the net.......but I'd like to roll one around and see how I like it. I am excited........this will be great for Mia for when we go places it is best for him not to walk, like Outdoor markets. There is one in town here and people often bring their dogs, but I'd prefer if Mia was hidden in the stroller anyways.
I can see it now........
"Awww....is it a boy or girl?"
I reply (no further explanation); "Boy"
Whopps...is that my phone ringing? Gotta run......
(Human or dog??? The world may never know.........) LOL ...... I amuse myself.
debg is right. It's easy to push. I live in the country and have to go across gravel, grass and somewhat hilly terrain to get to our flea market. I don't have any problems. It holds up to 30 pounds. Maybe you could take your dogs to Petsmart and try one out before you buy it! I like that it looks like a real baby stroller. It even has cupholders and a place on the bottom to put things. It also has a raincover. Come to think of it...my kid's strollers didn't even have cupholders!
I have a stroller that I got from doctors foster and smith, and I dont know what I did without it.
It has 2 parts, one is like a kennel only made of fabric and mesh, the fabric part is so dogs can "hide" and the mesh lets them see out, the base holds the kennel, I roll it to the car put the kennel part in the back seat, with a push of the button fold the base and toss it in too.
LOVE this when I take a mommy and babies to the vet, nobody can just walk up and touch my babies, mom is with them and less stressed, no carrying babies and getting mom to walk, no "dog germs" getting on mommy cuz she dosent touch the floor.....
