sorry i think you misunderstood my last comment about "i think i will keep them" those two are my personal pets. harley on the right is almost 4 sally is 2. if the two ever had puppies which i don't think they would i would keep them all. thanks for being so sweet though:)
OT. Could I ask a question? Well, I guess it is more then just a question. Why people names? What ever happened to Spot and Tiger. I have a difficult time reading a comment about a dog with a "person" name. I love my dogs, but I would not give them a name like Bob or Bill. I try hard to come up with names that seem to fit a personality. When I first fell in love with Boston's I loved the fact that they snort. So my Boston's name is Miss Piggie Baggins. I just don't understand why people give people names to their pets. Please help me understand. Thanks
I've seen some kids with names that I wouldn't dare give my dog, or even a pet snail for that matter. I give my pets names that fit their personality, sometimes that means they get a "human" name, and sometimes a "pet" name. I think that as an adult with no kids, I would feel funny taking my dog out in public and calling him Snuggles or Mr. Pookie. Thats just me.
My dogs names are Rocky and Mollie. Those could be human names. That is just the name that fit them. Actually I've never had a dog that didn't have a name a human couldn't use. But all my cats have weird names. I guess its all about what suits them. (cats-mischief, doodles, taco, nacho) (dogs-tucker,boone,jazz, bo)
when i named my dogs i did not think what was a human name or a dog name, i gave them the name that fit them. a name that i like. people name their dogs for a reason that might be special to that person. we like our so called human names for our dogs. if you have a problem of understanding post i really don't know what to tell you.
