It feels like some kind of scam. she does not want money but I got this exact same email from another lady and when I insested I pick the pup up because it was only a few hours away she stoped replying. can someone tell me what they think. Also how is she going to scamm me if she does not want money?
What do they do? The only thing I could come up with is they mapquest your addy drive to your house and then kill you.
This is the secondtime I got the email. the first they lady was selling a pup and said she wanted to ship it the next day and no money was ever brought up. this lady is trying to adopt her pet said she wants no money but needs to ship it.
They probably have you send the money for shipping or any other costs to them by Western Union and then they never send you the dog. Therefore, you are out the money and have no dog. They have the money you sent and probably no dog. Most of these scammers do not even have a dog to sell. They false advertise by using pictures they stole from someone else's ads or websites and when they get your money that is the end of it.
That is just my guess though. Someone else may be able to tell you more. I get emails from scam buyers all the time.
Its probably a scam. I wouldnt get serious with her about taking the dog. Procede further if you want to see if she wants to send some type of money order western union for you own humor, but just remember its a scam.
How does this person know it will take "9 HOURS" to ship the dog to you if they have no idea where you are? It could easily take that long to ship between points within the US -- no overseas flight involved. Based on the info they ask for, they assume you are in the US (= you are made of money).
My guess is that they are first trying to reel you in by sending you pictures of the dog. They sense that you've fallen in love and they send messages that they are about to ship. At some later point, when they sense you are puppy-crazy, they will hit you with the shipping costs. If you react badly, they can remind you that they said upfront that transport would take "9 HOURS."
Really, now. If you were adopting out your dog, don't you think that maybe you could find a suitable home within the SAME CONTINENT?!?!
Oh no worries I missed tha part. I didnt read the whole email I just read bits and pieces. I find it a bit funny. I wrote her back and said to go ahead and ship it and asked what info she needed because i forgot
