I totally agree with cats not being allowed to roam at large. I could care less about them being in my yard pooing in my garden, but what if Kaycee or Buddy were to get a hold of one and kill it? I would feel terrible! I would just as bad if I were to run one over. When I lived in Florida the neighbor's used to let their unspayed female cats run at large both ended up pregnant every heat! It was a pretty chilly winter for Florida and my mom usually checked under the hood of her car for kittens before she left for work, but one morning she was rushed for time and had to go to the bank, I'll never forget we were sitting in the drivethrough when a man came running up yelling for us to shut the car off! Hanging from the wheel well was one of the kittens! She had completely lost one ear from the belt and was mangled pretty bad. Once we got the car shut off and opened the hood we found two other kittens alive and well. The one kitten had to be PTS but the other two were adopted on the spot by the good samaratins that saw what was happening.
I also agree with that. I have a cat who is strickly indoors. But there are other neighborhood cats that roam freely through my yard. A few have been bold enough to come right up to my back door and what ends up happening is a cat fight between the screen door. Now minnie is scared of all other cats.
