separation anxiety.. he never destroys anywhere else.. If the the appartment is spotless when I leave him he won't do a thing, but if there is just a trace of dirt he'll go crazy and rip things apart. This time it was spottless when I left him but my frined who lives with mr for the moment came home after I had left and put some mcdonalds trash in the kitchen sink. Luke hates stuff like that and tore up my floor. I just don't get it...
Hej I never liked the layers of floors anyhow... I would never have been able to pull it out either.. God that dog is strong! I tried pulling out the rest so that I att least could have one floor across the kitchen but I couldn't budge it an inch.
THAT is why I am a firm believer in crate training. I can't afford to keep replacing walls, tables, woodwork, floors, etc. NOt to mention what if one of my dogs got a nail or worse driven into the roof oftheir mouth or something like that when I was gone?
We run our siberians on springer bike attachments, that way you just hop on the bike, and the dog can take off no need to pedal til the end of the run which is about 5- 10 miles depending if they are tired from playing chase on the 1 acre fenced property, and fetch it for about 30 min twice a day.
I know this is a serious situation, but I totally cracked up at the look on that dog's face. He was like "What?". Absolutely hysterical!! So sorry for the big clean up you have on your hands - just soooo glad it isn't me!
