Hi! Here is my blue girl Diamond. She is only 2 weeks in this photo but is turning 3 weeks this Thursday. I am adding her 1 week old picture, and her 3 week old picture. Her color is still changing, so I would suggest googling (is that a word? LOL) for Blue Min Pins.
Hi, As far as I know there is no "lavender or lilac". What happens is that there a different shades of every color. There are different shades of Black and Tan Min Pins, different shades of Chocolate or Red and so on. The color Blue is the dilute of Black. The color Fawn is the dilute of Chocolate. And the color Tan is the dilute of Red. The most common confusion is with the Tan. I have seen many people classify their Min Pins as Tan, when they are really Red. Also, people say Fawn hides behind Red genes, but that is not that case. It is a dilute of Chocolate. However, when it comes to genes, sometimes you just never know for sure. Thanks!
Fawn in chis is a black based color and a dilute chocolate is a lavender... so in a chi they'd be lavender/tan.
I see there is little uniformity in the dog world about color names! In rabbits there's a lot of variation of the names of the same colors in breeds. Agouti=chestnut=castor=gray=sandy... they're all genetically the same color! Drives me crazy!
