Well to make a long story short this is the puppy that i posted about like 6 wks ago. I was going to reserve him if he turned out good enough for showing and breeding but then i had a temporary job loss so i wasn't going to be able to get him at all. I got a new job pretty quickly and e-mailed the breeder recently to tell them how lovely the litter had turned out and i guess it was my lucky day because they offered him to me again. He is 8 wks old tomorrow and i'm waiting to hear what his exact weight is but they only expect him to be about 4 pounds full grown. That is very good weight for the show ring. I'm glad he has turned out soooo beautifully. I can't wait to get him into the show ring. If he does well he will be my very first champion!!!! Words can not explain how exciting that would be!
The breeder, whom i've bought two other pups from previously, is so wonderful! They are graciously going to hold him for me until we can meet up at the national specialty in March. That saves me from taking two trips from michigan to kentucky. A little sad i'll miss out on having him as a wee wee tiny baby though lol. Below is the most recent picture i have of him. Its not a very good angle though so i am also posting a picture of his brother who is the same size and color but had a better picture taken of him lol.
Congrats!! I am glad things worked out. He (and his brother) are precious! Love their THICK coats!
That is what I mean about "Show" Poms and "Pet" Poms. They seem to have a big difference in coat types. The Poms like your new baby boy have the real big thick coats (which I LOVE!) and the face is almost part of the body.
But then.. I have seen Poms where the face protrudes and the coat is no where near as close to fluffy as your baby's.
Both are beautiful...but I have to say, the Show Poms pull my heartstrings!!!!!! CONGRATS. He is beautiful/stunning/precious...and any other word that mean gosh darn CUTE!
So cute. I was looking at black pom pups last night. the little was jet black very shiney the little girl was black but not as black strange. I have no clue if they were standered poms but there mom and dad looked great. Its so funny the dad was whit ewith a spot and the mom was sable and there 3 pups all turned out black.
I think the little girl was the cutest she looked almost exactly like the one you posted. the little boy had a longer nose and these sad eyes I dont think he was sad he seemed happy wagging his tail and cuddling but his eyes made you want to pick him up and give him tons of kisses.
Thank you all for the comments. I adore him. Oh and i know what you mean about the little cotton ball likeness they have. Especially their feet. They look like real cotton balls dipped in black paint. I can't wait to receive more pictures of him. If i get lucky and have some extra money come in i'll deffinately be using it to pick him up earlier then March. I just can't wait to see his tiny body. Plus i would be able to register him and get him in with a handler a little sooner that way too.
