was this an intentional breeding ? i wouldnt worry so much about making up cutesy pie names for them. i would worry more that you are able to place these mixed bred puppies in LOVING forever homes and that they dont become lab rats, bait dogs, or the next generation of mill dogs.
Why not just sell them for what they are West Highland/Maltese mix pups, that way people know what the mix is and they can research both breeds and make sure it will be compatible with their families and lifestyle. I have a Bichon Frise/Westie mix named Cody. I had done research on both breeds and had decided that either breed would be great for our family and I had called several breeders for the two mentioned and found out how much they were going for then when I started to seriously look for a pet I noticed this ad in the paper from a lady who had BichonFrise/Westies ix pups for sale, part of our family went out to look at the pups and it was love at first site but you can not buy on love at first site you have to check them pups out, see how they play and interact etc. it took the three of us 2 hours to pick Cody out from a litter of 4 males, we have never regreted getting him but that is because we new what the mix was, if the lady had given them a cute name, we may never had gone to look at them to begin with. Be honest in your ad, state they are mixes and and the mix is West Highland and maltese.
You're kidding, right? You purposely bred these dogs together? Anyway, to answer your questions: call the what they are, mixes of both breeds; you don't need cutie names for a mutt. Also, to find out how many pups you may have, you can have an ultrasound done when she near her due date, maybe 58 days along, just so you know how many are there, so you don't have a retained pup. Please get you dog spayed after this pregnancy to prevent this from happening again. It also would be great if you found loving homes for them, so they won't end up at the shelter.

well I have homes for all of the puppies already(before they are born). and I am not going to make a life style of breeding two differant breeds together to make a 'desinger dog" so why don't you go talk to all of the people how breed two dogs for that reason!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi, I actually saw a puppy in the shelter that was a westie/maltese mix. She was adorable. I tried to adopt her, but she was already taken. I have been looking for a puppy that is a mix between a west highland and maltese ever since.

I don't know what to make of this, whether you are for real or whether this is a troll but assuming you are for real then I am glad that you have homes already lined up for the pups, I hope that they are adequate homes that will keep the pup forever and not discard it once the novelty has worn off. Are these new homes friends of yours? are you giving them away or are they being sold?
I agree that you should have your dog spayed once the pups are weaned as there are thousands of dogs killed everyday in pounds, please do not be another statistic.
I am sure the pups will be gorgeous, make sure that you feed them a nutritious diet and that you worm them and that they are immunized at the age of 7-8 weeks. I personally don't believe in vaccinating pups at 6 weeks.
This is a mixed breed. What one looks like and another looks like will be VASTLEY different. If you TRUELY have your heart set on a mix of Westie/ Maltese keep checking local animal shelters, don't purchase from back yard breeders.
