I'll guess an even 2 dozen the number 24. I hope that many doesnt get broken though. Maybe you could put a large blanket under the tree so when the ornements fall they will have less change of breaking. Or a large throw rug.
lol, that's one realistic looking ornament....oh wait....it is real! haha I think I would have to string my cats up by their tails for that. Fluffy has already opened a present, she's lucky it was for Lady, so I didn't bother re-wrapping it.
Our tree is in the no-no room, so Merphy is only allowed in there when I'm in there, and Milo is not allowed at all! Merphy's knocked a few off, but I've invested in shatter proof ornaments! No casualties thus far. :Keeping fingers crossed:
I was actually very smart this year...I only put about 1/2 of my ornaments on the tree, that way when they started to get broke I could add more...no bare spots lol! I did leave the bottom part of the tree a little more empty since those are the ones that have been hit hard, and as I type Makenzie is grabbing another one! Argggg lol at least we'll be gone for a week so some of them will be spared. I'l stop the count the day after Christmas, and the person(s) closest to the count without going over will have a tie breaker to determine the winner.
Hints for tie breaker if one is needed:
It will be a question concerning either my current dogs, or past rescues....if you do your homework lol you'll be able to find the answer right here on TP!
I think after the first couple...I would have put up an ex-pen around my tree to save my ornaments! Unles you like change and love to put up new ones yearly...lol. Every year its like a whole new tree, hehe
