i see nothing wrong with a dog going into a food store, if ur dog is not running around or doing anything other then sitting i dont see a prob w/ it and for the camera thing, i carry my camera everywhere i mean every where even to church, not that i even take pics, but u never know when u might need it so who ever said that having a she took her dog on purpose to the store b/c she had a cam and took pics is a stupid thing to say honestly shes not the only who takes cams every where nor is it uncommon or not normal
Ok, I also hate the fact that dogs are not allowed in many places. The first time I brought my dog into walmart and was asked to leave I was really offended. But when I think of it afterwards we do have to consider other people too. It is kinda rude to have dogs where there's food. So I just waited outside wal-mart while my mom had to finish what she was buying. So next time if your grandma insists going into the grocery store, you can wait outside.
Have to admit, cute pictures but I also have to say "Shame on that food store for allowing an animal in the store", here where I live that is a big NO NO. I have to admit that I probably wouldn't shop at a food store where they allowed pets in. not everyone is a responsible pet owner and keeps their pets up to date on shots and all.
well... I enjoy bringing my dogs with me everywhere, but ONLY where they are welcomed. My library allows dogs, there are two nice outdoor restuarants, however I only bring my dogs into the "dogs welcomed" areas...
Sienna, just curious. Do you live in a small town?? We do and they are alot more leanient. I take even Chi-Ching to our pharmacy, they do sell some food there, but as long as he sits in a cart(I put him in back) they have no problem with him in there. They said the only reason they do not allow them to walk around is because they also have alot of breakables in there.
I think that if they allow them, then go for it. If people do not want to shop where a dog has been, well, then they can shop somewhere else!
My town's not totally small. But a 20 minute walk for an 80 year old woman with food etc isn't easy, so we took advantage of an oppurtunity. My grandma can't foodshop without me or my mom, she needs help, assistance, so I had to go in.
Don't you think you guys should leave it now, come on..
So apparently, it's ok to break state health codes as long as you keep your dog in a cart or live in a rural area or have a grandmother who can't walk far? 'Cause that's the impression I'm getting here. So why bother having laws at all? They only apply to some people...
plain ole' common sense tells you that you shouldnt bring your dog into a grocery store. why would you feel that anyone should have to tell you that. good lord. most stores have meat departments. alot of them cut and wrap the meat. the vegeatable deptartments have fresh vegeatables sitting out. not very sanitary to have a dog around those areas of the store. period.
Honestly, if you do not rinse your vegetables from your grocery store, you are bound to get sick but it ain't from a dog!!
I find it humorous that alot of you get upset at a store that ALLOWS dogs. Let the store decide. If more of my stores would allow me to bring my dog in, I would. Chi-Ching will be coming to work with me when I get my studio open. People who are allergic will have to find another photographer or do a photoshoot on site. My studio, my rules. Granted, I won't have food but the same concept applies.
