Hey there - I'm new here too so here goes. After reading some of the discussions here I think i have an anti-dog. I have a puggle that my boyfriend got me from a pet store at a mall. <gasp> We didn't know any better back then. ;o)
His name is Baxter but we call him "Baxie" I'm totally in love with him. He's 8 months old. I've been told that he's a little bigger than most puggles but since there isn't too much out there about this type of "mutt" I don't know who's right. I have a bunch of pictures but i don't know how to attach them to this post.
We live in Connecticut and I can't wait for Baxie to experience his first snowfall. He had a blast when the leaves were falling. He'd run out and try to catch them. It was pretty comical.
thank you for telling me about yourselves and thanks for making me feel welcome . My story goues like this:
I got an exotic shorthair ( really cut and it has a smushed up face google it and you will find a bunch of cats she is a riunged silver) and named her Frances franchesca when she is bad dog for teasing and fran for reagulary use.

Hi, I have a male german shepherd, I also have a female red heeler, also a male dog from the hienz 57 catagory,I also have a hamster. I have 3 children 2 girls 1 boy ages 15,16,17.I also live in florida.
I'm owned by: 1 male Great Dane named Laredo, he is 10 months old 1 female Rottweiler mix named Dakota, she's 3 years 16 birds, Budgies and Cockatiels. Ages range from 1 year - 16 years old. And lots of fish!
A papillon, Cassie, who thinks she runs the joint (she probably does, sigh) A german shepherd mix that we adopted from a shelter almost a month ago. His name is Clyde, he's scared of everything, someone who had him before wasn't too nice to him. :/
3 cats...one's a Tonkinese, one's just a mix, the other one is a striped cat that someone dumped as a kitten, when our son found her she was missing one eye but ended up losing both of her eyes due to feline herpes despite specialists and medication.
Two birds: Darwin, our African Grey, and Bumbles, our blue and gold macaw. They never shut up and take great joy in calling the dogs by name all day offering them "yummies" (codeword in our house for treats) and yelling at them to "go lay down" when they show up, and then they laugh at them. The dogs both fall for this every time, and they've had Clyde going since the second day he was here. (Doesn't hurt that the Grey does my voice so well that my husband can't even tell the difference)
We also have an 8 year old son.

I live in Southwest MI with my 3 year old Golden retriever (today is her birthday), Kyra. I also consider Taylor, a mix I rescued part of my family even though she lives with my parents. I brought her home about 8 years ago and moved out...but they were so attached, they wouldn't let me take her with me!! So, now I have to go over there everyday to see her.
