Im realy into Sci. I love the hands on, watching to see what will happen, theroys are great thing. And as you all now I totaly digg animals.
Well my oldest seems the same way. She is always doing things to see what will happen, she will watch things to see what happens, shes always making up strange ideas that mayhappen. Shes also very caring and love animals. So wile shoping i fliped when I saw Planet frog.
If you dont know what it is, its a frog tank made for lepord frogs. You send in a coupon and they mail yo ua tad pole and food and you get to watch it change into a frog. Its bought and wraped and opened (i took the coupon out so it didnt get lost) and there is no turning back. but im starting to have doughts. Is planet frog bad? Has anyone herd anything about them?
I got it for my daughter (who was 8) last year for Christmas and she loved it for a few weeks and then the newness wore off. Lucky for me we have a water garden so that is where the tadpoles went when she grew tired of them.
Sound cool if she is into stuff like that. Tadpoles are really neat to watch in the different stages. It will be a great learning experience for her. Now....my sea monkey experience wasn't so great. I got a sea monkey set once and thought it was so cool. Then as the darn things grew and you could actually see what was wiggling in the water I was horrified! Scared the daylights out of me! Skip sea monkeys unless weird things with wiggle legs don't freak you out!
LOL Sea monkeys. I always though those buggers were so small you couldnt see them very well. they have a web page that shows you how to make your sea monkeys do tricks and stuff. After reading it I was like WOW i need sea monkeys but then I rembered they were small and decited i didnt need them anymore

I teach Kindergarten and life cycles is one unit of study we do in the spring. We get the tadpoles from a local petstore in April. Mine NEVER turned into frogs. We actually had bullfrogs. I don't know if it matters what type of frog they are, but these seemed to take a long time. The other teacher's all died before anything happened. Like I said nothing happened to mine and I gave them away to someone who had a pond at the end of the year. The third teacher had one that had back legs, but died before anything else. It was cool to watch them.
Sea Monkeys are the BOMB!!!! Sorry, that probably sounds lame. I got my little brother (9 yrs. old now) Sea Monkeys last Xmas and they are still living. It's really cool to see thier life cycles and when they are pregnant, etc. Too cool.
I just picked it up at Toys R Us they also have them in target.
the tadpoles they send you are lepord frogs and they send them right befor they are ready for back legs sometimes they get there back legs in the mail. I know they can take a long time to totaly change. it takes around 2 to 4 for weeks for them to go from back legs to full frog. Bull frogs have to take a long time We cought what we though was a little fish. It was longer then my hand and real fat. We learned it was the tadpole of a bull frog.
Seamonkey bracelet? I have not seen that but im gonna have to google it.
Poor seamonkeys ive seen little girls when they get a new bracelet they always shake there arm when they show people.
Ok im returning it tomarow. Ill just put everything back in the box and flurt my way into cash, any tips on flurting with a girl lol. I would have decited to give it a try anyway but everyons tadpoles died unless they made changed to the tank.
Maby they will have a gel ant farm or something cool like that.
I just checked it out on Yahoo and they sell a sea monkey friendship locket for little girls. Ewww! I also read about the little creatures on a website and it says they are easy to raise and that they can live for 2 years. I am tempted to try again. Don't know if I can stand to look at them when they get big enough to see without the little magnifying glass. Maybe I will just stick to dogs.
