It's the fact I feel that a show, that's viewed across the nation, handled it irresponsibly, with not enough emphasis on the fact that these same types of dogs are already available in kill shelters.
I read up on the breeder and as far as breeders go they seem to have everything lined up to a point, much better than what I've seen, but it doesn't change the point that they got free publicity today, they will see business boom, shelters will see more animals put to death.
Hope that makes sense...again, my problem isn't with the breeder, really, and I think a lot of others look at it from the same direction I do.
i love him too. he's retiring from the price is right in june. it will be weird to watch the show without him, but he plans to spend time working with animal-rights causes, including his own DJ&T Foundation.
I went to the mulberry farm site and their posted visiting hours was a tip that they are not all they claim to be, at least to me anyways. ANY one who has to set up appointemts to allow visitors is questionable to me......what do they have to have notice of your arrival for?
People who want to come see my babies are told "come anytime before 9pm on any day that works for you. Now I understand if you work outside the home and cant have people stop by til after work etc but.....these people make me wonder...and the weather has to be nice too??? WHY.
and yes I did send an email to the today show, for all the good it will do
