I was going through the ads in the paper and came across an Ad that said "Newborn Pit Bull Pups, 100$ each." So I called and asked some questions. Turns out the pups were literally newborn, only a few days old. When I asked why they were selling them so young they replied "Well we bred our female and decided we don't want to take on the responsibility of taking care of the pups.". I couldn't believe they said that, I wanted to go and get every single one of those little babies but I don't have the time or money too.
I came across another Pit Bull ad which had a website you could visit, so of course I did. I was quite impressed with everything untill I looked at their Dogs. The males who are up for stud were as young as 1 year, I thought you weren't supposed to breed untill 3 years of age? I also saw that at the bottom of the stud page they said they would have everyone who wanted to use one of their studs sign a contract saying that the Female would be tested for diseases and infections but the stud didnt have to have any testing....weird? Uh I think so! I also didn't like the fact that they had pictures of their Pits wearing HUGE and heavy looking chains around their body, they also made them look like they were intented for Fighting use...And when I went to their Brood page, two of their broods had died this year from getting in a fight with each other and the result was death for both...Also, when I looked at the page with the pups for sale they currently had 8 litters of pups! In total they had 43 puppies....The pups were extreamly cute, but they were already for sale and the oldest of all the litters was 6 weeks, thats a little too young isn't it? The pups also had scabs all over their bodys, mostly on their head, and they looked somewhat skinny. They also said that when adopting a pup you sign a contract saying that you can do whatever with the pup but the pup will not come with any vaccines and if anything happens that their is no health garuntee and no refunds... That just made me really sad to see, I mean when you first get onto the website they make it sound like they are very good, reputable breeders untill you look alittle further..
I mean honestly? Why do people have to do that? What is the point!!
