"The ACC has a developed panel of experience [sic] judges in conformation. With over 30 years of experience, the panel is able to judge correct structure and type to the absolute standard of each specific breed."
Two photos should allow their "experience" judges to award a championship, don'tcha think?!? Unbelievable! Wonder where they're getting their judges, what criteria they're judges have to meet, and who's providing the "absolute" standards?
Oh, and don't forget there's
"Lifetime Recognition as an American Champion and historically recorded as an American Champion with the ACC stud books"
Do ya think ACC champion is close enough to AKC champion to confuse the masses? Sadly, I do!
I have an AKC champion and ordered the ACC certificate anyways! The ACC certificate arrived and looks much nicer but was far easier to get! I am going to take it for what it is! Something fun for me and my dog! I also like photos with my Fancy and Santa, though!
OMG, I can't believe this site. I think this would be for those questionable breeders who want to say "Champion bred" or "Champion Blood Lines". How can they tell from pictures the size of the dog. I raise Chihuahua's and they should not be over 6 pounds. How can you tell that from a picture?, How can you tell the lenght at the withers, or the bite? This is a scary site for anyone who is trying to purchase a good, quality dog.
Wow, it takes all kinds to make a buck. What an incredible scam. But the worse part is this.......people will be STUPID enough to buy into this and pay $45.00 for a piece of paper with a gold/silver star that is worth less then the toilet paper they used for their morning constitutional. I wonder how many IDIOTS have one of these 'certificates' in their pocession and think I HAVE A CHAMPION now! PT Barnum was right and I quote:
Not to mention that there is no way to check conformation on a coated breed without touching the dog. With a good groomer you can cover almost any physical defect. I doubt you have to shave downt the dog for them to "judge" it. Maybe this is how people get CH. titles on there ConKC dogs.
