VET SAID IT COULD BE TUBULAR DISC SOMETHING ......WHAT IS IT AND HOW CAN I HELP HIM FEEL BETTER, ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS AND CAN GIVE SOME ADVICE?????

I'm a little late on this one, but.... Not sure what your Chi weighs, also, the 81MG aspirin is fine for him, but they should not have more than 2 in a day.
Keep in mind by giving him something to relieve the pain, he needs to be confined to a crate and only let out in intervals to potty until you get him to a vet. Once you dull the pain, he will feel more up to running about which can cause further damage depending on what it is.
Back injuries are serious and I'm surprised the vet didnt ask for him to brought in for an exam before telling you to simply give him something for pain.
Thats right, no Vet would prescribe that over the phone, this is a complex problem, not a quick pain meds type of issue. The thing with back issues, is it doesn't always mean the back is the main problem. Have the animal actually touched by a Vet, so he can properly examine the knees, hips and spine, etc, and have some x-rays taken.
