Buster's is already up. He inherited Sam's, my childhood dog who crossed the bridge three Christmas's ago. My mom found it in her box of Christmas Deco. Funniest thing is I can't believe she didn't throw it out, I really think that deep down she misses Sam very much, She never was much of a dog lover per say. She liked to complain about the hair and stuff, but he lived with us for 18 years. Man I miss him. I did pick up Buster's three presents last night. two bag of treats and a placemat.
Yep, my two have their stocking. The problem is I have nothing to put in them. I went shopping for them last week, and guess what.. momma couldn't hold out and ended up giving them all their surprises before Christmas had time to roll around. Fifty dollars of stuff down the drain. Which means, I gotta go shopping again.. and real soon! lol.
5 stockings. Molly, Noof, Kasey, Champ & Francie all have theirs up each year. We kind of go crazy for Christmas and buy a load of treats they only get once a year, like jerkey, dog friendly chocolate, specially made gingerbread cookies, tea..lol etc. And they each get a wrapped up gifts such as new home-made sweater, a new baby and a huge bone that will last them all year. They looove unwrapping their presents, it's pretty cute to watch too.
7 for us. Sophie, Fergus, Hazel, Murphy, Isabelle, Otto and Kiera. All spoiled rotten. I also gave in and they got all their homemade treats. SO it's back to the mall, which is like 2 hours from home! But the funds go to animal rescue, so it's worth the trip. The girls Hazel and Isabelle are expecting in Jan., so we should have a quiet Christmas! They enjoy the extra extra spoiled they get at this time, so their used to it already!
Thanks Animal M. We do, but having Buster with us now as made it easier. Buster has a lot of the same personality as Sam did,, funny enough Buster was born one month after we lost Sam. Huh never realized that before.
Thanks sonja, you just reminded me that I need to make the fleece blankets for my 3 dogs.
We hang 3 pet stockings - for Roxy, Cooper & Tucker. My daughter put the stocking for Casey (our English Springer Spaniel who crossed the bridge last September) up in her room last Christmas and it has stayed up since then.
