I personally ,would take it as a compliment. If wild little children came up to me and patted my dog without asking I would take it as a compliment because I can guarantee you that when I was a young child I would do that too!Wouldnt you?
Yes, and when your dog becomes terrified and confused at wild little children running up to it with outstretched arms and hollering faces, don't hesitate to wonder why [if] it cowers, bites, or tries to run away. THAT is why it is not acceptable. And parents need to control their kids just as much, if not more, than people need to control their dogs.
I don't agree with you on this issue animallover, sorry. I was attacked by a wolf hybrid that my mom's best friend owned, we were told to be still, and not move, my sister stood in front of me, so as I was holding onto her, I was bobbing back, and forth to see the dog, and I guess I spooked him, he grabbed my arm, and 3 adults had to pull the dog off of me. I was 4 yrs old when that happened. I wasn't trying to pet him, just wanted to get a look. He left a nice scar on my arm.
Thanks Michelle, it was many years ago, I was 4 when it happened, and my father used to do wild animal rehabilitaion, so when we were visiting mom's friend I guess he didn't think much of it, cuz the dog was new to the family, and hadn't been kid tested yet. Needless to say we never went over there again. They would come to our house. I wasn't scarred by it mentally like some people in that situation might be, it didn't stop me from owning animals, and doing wild animal rescues myself.
By "both of you" I meant you and animal. I don't think anyone else was confused by my post and I will tell you why; you both post multiple questions daily. You both repeat things a couple times over. Example you say? I am glad you asked... You and your questions about worms.
Only difference is, animal admits to being a kid while you try to pass yourself off as a 23 year old woman.
