ok, so i'm serious about the digestible bed thing... can anyone suggest a durable type of bed or one that isn't filled with that white fluff? last nite he slept with just a towel in his crate. any suggestions?
haha! kibble? that would be gross. yeah, i'm not actually talking about an edible bed, but one that is less dangerous if ("when" in our case) ingested. the nicer beds seem to be filled with the same white fluff you pull out of most soft things. just wondering if anyone knows of a more durable bedding. i think rugs and smaller blankets will work though.
hmmm...all has been well in cooper land until today. his coat looks really dull and he is shedding massively. he is on quite a coctail of meds and i'm not sure if they could cause this. also, more straining today in the yard after a few very good days. i'll take him to get checked tomorrow, but has anyone experienced dull coat/shedding due to meds or due to obstruction?
My Maine Coon ate an entire medium Pizza Hut pizza a few years ago. Nobody knew he got it for about a day once everyone realized a whole pizza just vanished. I know it sounds weird. I noticed Tom was struggling in the litter box and I pieced it together.
We had to pay Banfield $200 buck-a-roo's for an enema.
He was fine afterwards but his coat was dull for about a week, and he was not eating much.
As for the digestible bedding, I don't know of any that are better or worse.
