wouldnt the baby being screaming ? they do feel pain, and that had to be horrible pain. and what is a ferret doing running loose while they sleep. they are chewers. it could have chewed through electrical wires and started a fire. the whole story sounds fishy to me. they are responsible for that baby, and instead they were negligent. maybe they can get another ferret to gnaw that stick out of the butts. dipsticks.
Toledo Ohio....just had another similar case to this. The mother is now in jail awaiting trial. A child that has Spina bifida, which makes her not have sensation from her waist down was taken to the hospital by her mom who said "the babies feet are bleeding and the dog has blood on his feet and chest" Turns out the baby had to have the foot totally amputated, doctors said that there is no way this jut happened, that it would have taken this 12 week (?) old pit puppy a long time cause that much damage! So what was mom doing that she never noticed the child foot being chewed off? The fact the baby couldnt feel it is a good thing for her.
The puppy was blamed and euthanized...officials telling people that if you have children you shouldnt own a vicious dog! My god it was a tiny puppy and didnt know better, not a viscious killer....the mom is an idiot!!
People are like slinky's, not really good for much. But its still fun to push them down the stairs.
Oh most diffently a hype story just read both articles and the stated facts don't match themselves or scientific facts. If this was actually a true story you know as well as I do there would have been at least one photo. I did like that statement about this pup being the least chewy of the bunch. Ah the media gotta love em' for trying.
Something is seriously wrong with those people, in addition to their sheer stupidity.
There's really just so much crap out there now drug wise that people are doing that's capable of rendering someone stupid enough to not hear their baby screaming next to them, that any law agency needs to be sure that they cover all their bases, even testing for the drugs that are being abused that you can get over the counter.
SOMETHING is just not right with how they're explaining it. The fact that their baby was sleeping in a car seat is one of the things that really bug me about it. I mean I know that as a parent, I've had nights where I put my son in his car seat and took him for a drive to get him to sleep, but having him sleep in there all night next to a mattress that's on the floor is just...out of sorts to me.
My husband and I have one child, and we've tried and tried to have one more...andit just infuriates me to no end that there are people out there having kids that can't or won't take care of them, while there are other people who would give their right arm to have just one.
Maybe that clouds my perspective on this whole matter, but really it's seeming to be pretty cut and dry, to me.
