Please do NOT use the open forum to post anyone's name, kennel name, or any other specific, personal info. THis is not the place to hash out a legal issue.
I am sorry this has happened to you and your family, but again, this is not the place to deal with legal issues.

sorry you had to go through that~altho...i went on their site and found (amongst other things) they they are A BROKER! red flag there... "co op" of breeders as they say is just covering up the dirty word broker... you will want to find a breeder...where you can go meet them, thier home, parents of the pups & pups...and then and only then, when you feel comfortable w/ what you see...you get your baby...i wouldnt have a pup shipped...i think it is very important to see in person where my baby was raised..........
In the future, it might be worth the wait to find someone closer that has the pups you want. There's nothing more important than seeing where your pup was born and how it has been raised so far, and to check out the cleanliness and the environment. For that amount of money, you owe it to yourself to do the extra research to protect your investment, regardless of whether it's a dog, or anything else for that matter.
That being said, you sure paid an awful lot for that dog, especially when you consider that it's not a purebred dog, it's a mixed breed, which is also sometimes referred to as a mutt or a Heinz 57.
Did you know that there are mixed breed dogs of all types and ages in shelters that are needing homes? Usually you can get them for under $100, and your basically saving a life because the kill rate in most local shelters is amazingly high.
Hope you stop by and update us on your situation. Again, I'm sorry to hear of your situation, and I hope that there is a quick resolution.
Oh I sure wish you would have contacted this forum before sending 1500.00 to a scam.
We sure would have educated you on buying a pup.
Please, Please look on petfinger.com and type in poodle mix or Maltese mix and you will find a pup or helpless soul that they plan on putting to sleep. This pup will cost you a whole lot less and also saving a life.
Mixed breeds are not bad unless you pay someone for them. Thus adding to the over populated shelters. Fuel for the fire they say.
In other words, do not support the breeders that sell mutts.
You have learned a costly lesson and hopefully you can stick around to learn on how to properly buy a dog from TP's advice.
