To all who have mentioned the Buster Cube on TP. To anyone who suggested that someone get it for dogs that need more mental stimulation... thank you.
Santa Paws brought Charley a Buster Cube for Christmas.... he has spent HOURS pushing it around the house. HOURS sitting and studying it... and for every moment that he spends playing with the Buster Cube - that's one more pair of socks, underwear and jeans that are being spared....
Thanks, I'm going to get one of these. I will have to watch to make sure the dogs don't destroy this cube though. We can't give them anything but Nylabone items because they chew/destroy everything (furniture, dog beds, soft toys, etc). But the fun factor of this item might entice them.
Charley is an avid chewer and destroys everything within minutes... but the Buster Cube is a smooth plastic and he has not tried to chew on it... he seems to know that the fastest way to the treats is to turn it over. It's an awesome toy!!!
I got well santa brought bentley and daisy a stimulation toy also- its a soft square cube that has openings on each side ( all 4 since its a cube) and it has 4 diffent color sqeeky balls that you put in these openings and the dogs have to figure out how to get them out. of coarse each opening is a differnt color to match each ball but i dont think my dog will be pulling out the red ball out the red opening or vis versa-- of coarse you can put any toys or treats or what ever you want to stuff this thing with- they love it- they do get their heads stuck in the openings trying to get a ball out- its a soft cube so it doenst harm them its funny to watch them . it cost like 12.00 and well worth it- its suppose to stimuatate your dogs brain- figure out how to get these balls out of this cube- they love just playing with the soft plush sqeeky balls also- but i would have to say this toy is the best one theyve gotton in awhile and they have a bigger toy box then my daughters do..lol. I think its funny tho how i have to pick these toys up every day like 10x a day they pick and weed threw the toy box and grab out what they want and of coarse leave toys every where. it looks like i have a day care in my home all the toys and chew toys i have on my floor every day. i pick them up and they are right behind me taking them out. I just use a cat liter box the big one thats the really heavy plastic so its low enough they can get in and get thier toys out- Im looking to to find a real puppy toy box that would be cute, they have their huge doggie pillow on the floor and also anther doggie pillow and a doggie bed all in my living room- my house has went to the dogs..lol but they do play and sleep on these huge pillows and bounce off the couch on them and wrestle around and play and nap on them ive tried taking one out but they were searchng for it so i brought it back- I need abigger house already and we just bought this house 6 months ago- lol
