I was just wondering how much you thought our vet makes yearly? We live on the outskirts of indianapolis indiana and pets are like family.I know my vet make close to $300,000 every year.My dads vet he used to go to in his little home town made about $150,000 a year.
I'm sorry but I think that is a wrong question to ask. As long as the vet is doing a great job they are worth every penny.
They do have to pay back lots of school loans, equipment and such. I think I would be a little upset if someone was wondering how much a body shop makes. It is none of your business unless you want to pursue the career and was wondering how much time it would take to pay everything you had to borrow.
Like they say to not talk about religion, politics and your annual salary if you want friends! :)

my vet probably doesnt make what most do.he is the vet for almost all the local rescues.he also does low cost and free spay and neuters.if someone is having a hard time money wise.he only charges what the meds cost no fee for him.
It is about location. Which if you think about it that EXCUSE is really quite silly because all the products (expenses) are coming from the same manufacturers. The only difference then is rent-- which 9 of 10 vets I have ever went to own there own buildings-- so scratch that.
Some vets make what they want to make, because they can.
