Yesterday Joe (the hubby) mentioned that he had seen a cat similar to Sarah on the edge of the property, he knew it wasn't her because it didn't have the BRIGHT yellow collar lol, and was flecked with orange. So anywho I'm thinking "ok, no big deal, just don't let me see it or we'll have another cat"...lol, so this morning we're getting ready to go to the store when out from behind my car comes this cat, pathetically skinny, sickly looking, and NURSING! Her nipples are dry and sacks are full so I'm going to guess the litter to be about a week or two at most. I have little doubt that she isn't related to Sarah, everything but the color about them is identical...down to the personality. So I put out a bowl of food for her which she devoured and I left. When I got home she was gone and I scoured the woods looking for any sign of her or the kittens...if they are still alive. I really need to find them and get them into the house, so I left some food outside and am keeping an eye on it, but if she comes back to eat, what are my chances of following her and actually finding the kits? She has NO fear whatsoever of people, but neither did Sarah when I found her, but it's obvious that she isn't being fed at all, I mean all she was was skin and bones with hangin boobbies. I put in a "rush" application to have her spayed at the next mobile, and if I find the babies, I'll have them done too.
Now i don't know what the chance of you finding the kittens but i hope you do. Most the time when i find kittens i never find mom. you will be very lucky and it would be great to have and kittens it is very hard to take care of 1-2 week old kittens.
Well my mom just told me if you start feeding the mom and taking care of her she may bring the kittens to you. you have to get the mom to trust you so she knows she can get food there.

well I don't think she has any trust issues, she climbed right into my arms and let me scratch her all over, I sure do hope she brings those babies here, maybe Sarah will tell her I'm a good mommy lol. Sheesh just got Fluffy adopted out, now I'm going to have more...and to think I'm am NOT a cat person.....go figure. I like cats, just not to keen on the whole cleaning of the litter box.
