Hello Irishacres! Wellllll me' boyo! Now I can respond in true Irish terms:"Boyo's will be Boyo's,won't they"? heheheheheeheheheheheh(Guess what both my Hubby and I are of Irish descent ourselves! heheheheheehee! Ok I'm just joshin' ya! The pic looks like a Real Irish Love fest don't it though? you wild Irish boyo's you! I have heard about those crazy welsh girls though so the blame can't be all the Setters(grin) (i.e.: the Richard Burton(Welsh) and Liz Taylor(English) of the Canine world,eh!) I vote for the Welsh Setter idea and I think one of the human parents should seriously consider staying at home to stand guard over those wild eyed pupdogs! by the way what did you mean by BYB? I didn't know. Call them the magic mixture of the UK homeland! British,Scottish,Irish, and welsh emigre's will appreciate the humour in it! Congrats on both the canine babies and the lil Human one coming! Attaboyo!
Since I last posted this I have discovered a new problem with my dogs. They smoke after sex. We all know that smoking is unhealthy. I tell them to stop but they tell me they have animal rights? Should I give into them, or at least let them chew the nicotine gum or use the patch? But, if they go cold turkey wouldnt they be skittish?
Whats really frustrating about this smoking it ruins their endurance out in the field for hunting. And lets face it smoking is unglamourous and wouldnt look good at the show ring either.
For the smoking...cold turkey would be no good, but I bet they'd appreciate real turkey!! I like the idea of riley's Jasmine breeding with the corgi--sporgis!! (totally love the post...great laugh after a long week!) :)
My boyfriend has informed me that we ALL need help (in a nice way!)...first for posting it, next for replying, and last for laughing hysterically at it (or at least I did!) Seriously, this has to be one of the best posts and replies ever! And for the pup that is afraid of the rock, you should paint him to match the rock so he might associate that as his mother...and put up lots of mirrors so he can see himself!! LOL!
I would recommend the patch. Just make sure that you place it in a different spot every day. Don't want to mess with their skin. As for them saying they have rights you might want to remind them who's alpha in the house.
Riley, I am sorry to hear about Jaz not being bred. This truely breaks my heart but you might want to look into breeding her with a smaller dog like maybe a yorkie or a chi. Just something to think about.
