A guarantee is only as good as the person who gives it.
Did you actually read the terms of the guarantee? It is easy to give a guarantee, but will they actually honor it?
How many hoops will you need to jump through and how much will it cost you before you will get anything? They do not offer your money back and want to replace it with another dog from most likely the same line that produced your defective dog. They want you to give up your dog as well.
The 5 years doesn’t really mean much since most condition will pop up in the first 2 years. Besides, will they even be there or continue to breed in 5 years? As with most guarantees I have seen, this one is full of loopholes and makes it very hard and costly for the buyer to collect on it. The tests that are often required to prove it was a covered condition and the breeder’s fault could easily cost more then the price of the dog.
Got to read the fine print before you say this is one of the best breeders.
I still didn't think you could mention breeders by name. I mean shoot, when I have puppies, I advertise on here-- as do other people on the forum. That doesn't mean that people wanting me spamming the forum with my TP puppy add, and I know that the 'other' advertiser wouldn't like that they were being mentioned on this thread.
