Was just wondering if anybody had/has a beagle or other dog with allergies problems and what did they for the dog to help make it feel better? I really could use any helpful hints and recipes if anybody in America has any?
Thank You America !!

my male frenchie has food allergies. i switched him to the natural balance potato and duck. havent had any problems since. no more dry , cracked nose, or itchy flaky skin. he is like a totally different dog now.
I have a beagle/golden retriever mix who has some allergies. I have not paid for testing because we've been dealing with some medical issues of our other dog... and well, quite honestly - they budget is stretched to the limit.
We have been keeping a journal for him. We started by changing him to Natural Balance Potato and Duck formula. Then we make note of any treats that he has, anything that he comes into contact with etc... and make note of how he's acting. I'm also very careful to use as many environmentally friendly cleaning products as possible. Our dog is allergic to pledge... so I use Method's almond oil wood cleaner instead.
My pug/beagle mix is allergic to sugar and yeast. He used to get nasty yeast in his ears followed by frequent ear infectinos. I now have him on science diet - natures best food for dogs with allergies. So far it's working. No more allergies.
Hey, I know that some of you don't think much of the Science Diet brand, can you think of another brand of dog food that may be better for my pooch that still doesn't contain sugar or yeast?
