Yesterday was my doctor visit and I had this HORRIBLE pain in my stomach, my doctor was concerned and scheduled an immediate ultrasound for 8:15 this morning(earliest he could get) He was very concerned that I had an eptopic pregnancy(eptopic pregnancy is where the baby is in the fallopian tube and it is almost never a viable pregnancy) I was so scared but this morning we got to see our precious little baby!! The heartbeat was 176 bpm and it was measuring a perfect 10 weeks - the length is only 1 1/4 inch!
The baby was wiggling and moving its hands and feet all over the place, it was adorable!!
For those that want to see, here is the ultrasound picture....
Sorry it is fuzzy, I took it quick tonight, I will get a better picture tomorrow........
Husky, he has been pretty normal except he won't jump up anymore, even if I call him up, he will just sit and paw at me but he won't jump up...... now, he still does it to my husband! LOL I think that once I really start showing alot, then it may change more.
When my sister was pregnant the first time, she had a caucasian mountan dog. After the first few weeks, I didn't recognize him. He went from constant 16 week old dopey puppy pahse, which we thought would never leave, to almost a curmudgeon of safety. He'd walk in front of her down steps, and wait at the bottom until she got there! He'd constantly be watching out windows, and was on top of any car door slamming too. Dogs just seem to sense those things. It's strange how some end up reacting.
Sheesh, I wish my dog had been more careful of me when I was pregnant! When I was about six months along (over 14 years ago), he jumped right on my stomach when I was lying down...he was a 110-pound dobie! Thank God he didn't cause any damage!
I'm glad everything is all right, Katz, and your baby is doing well. Congratulations!
That is awesome, I bet your having a girl with a heart rate that high.
I miss being pregnant sort of....i just had a baby in August so I had all thos hot summer months. Ick, you'll be hitting some of those too. Have fun with that.
My pups were protective of me. It was cute. My Lab loves my son and wants to be by his side. The beagle a little less interested. He grumbles at my son when I sit him too close to him and then goes off on his own. I think he is a little jealous. So I try to pay attention to him as much as possible but he is my grumpy beagle.
Thank you all very much. I have heard that the faster heartbeat means girl too. My husband will be happy about that! He wants another girl and I would like a little boy. We find out in about 10 weeks what we are having, that is, IF the baby wants to be cooperative and let us peek..... neither of the girls was so courteous! We did not know at all with them.
My girls are also my world, they are the best thing that ever happened to me.
I am due in mid august so I get to enjoy that wonderful hot mucky months but it is well worth it!!!
:) I don't mind though. We will still be camping.....just a little closer then normal! lol I had my girls in Dec. and Feb. and I hated the winter months with a newborn, so it will be kind of nice to have a summertime baby.
I have to update the picture because it is actually clearer in person but I did not get a good picture last night, I just wanted one and kind of got lazy about it.
I'm glad to know that everything is fine. Did they ever figure out what the pain was? They put me in the hospital overnight when I had a pain like that - but I was 7 mo along. They never did say what they though it could have been. Anyway CONGRATS!!!
