So sorry for your loss. I did find a part of your post disturbing and that would be about burying him after the snow thaws, maybe in August hehehe. Perhaps this is your way of dealing with the situation and that is fine but I find it kinda insensative and unusal, most people don't feel like joking in situations such as this. Putting our differences aside, I truly am sorry for your loss.

My heart truly goes out to you and your family. With all you are going thru you still are trying to help your friend who needs help that is very nice of you. Your friends situation hit home with me, two years ago we had to put our Buddy down, he had stomach cancer. We did everything we could, I was feeding him with a spoon and when he wouldn't eat for me I knew I had to put him down right a way, I could not let him suffer and starve to death. Having to make that decision is never easy but it is part of being a responsible pet owner. I did not mean for my post to be mean and I am glad you didn't take it that way, i was just a little confused, thanks for explaining yourself, helped me to understand better. Take care and you and your family and friend are in my prayers.
