Oh yeah, that is the typical puppy thing, when my dog wus a puppy she did that. You have to teach your dog how to stop chewing on things before it becomes a horrible habit it could haunt you for the rest of your lif if you don't try and fix it real soon. It happened to my old friend, she never taught her dog how to stop chewing on everything as a pupppy, and she ended up getting rid of him. GET YOUR DOG SOME HARD CHEW TOYS AND RAW HIDES!
I have bully babies and they are notorious chewers....And the best thing i found to give them is pig ears....they love them and they last alot longer than rawhide...Also get some bitter apple spray. When they are chewing on something that is not theirs spray there nose with it, Now when i get the bottle out my bullies go nuts...they hate it. Good Luck!!!
Well, rawhide is what my vet told me not to give my babies...he told me pig ears were fine....depending on your dogs size, just get a pig ear to match. Even still with Harley, i have to take it away from her when it gets too small..
I think daisy is teething right now she is 5 months old and chewing on everything. also she has never had tear stains up untill she started teething- i find this werid but this is what the vet siad is causing it- she never had any staining and then woke up one morning and she had a few tear stains starting- and now they are getting alittle better since i put daisy and bentley back on angels glow- any one elses dog start having tear stains when teething?
most dogs lose there teeth at 4 - 6 months one of my dogs is a 6 month old pom chi and he has lost all his puppy teeth. and the other one is a 2 year old lab cross and he lost his teeth at that age too. just a note to remember: when they start to lose there teeth make sure u get them because they will swallow them if u don't.
