My Min Pin loves to take some of her food and hide it in anything clothes (dirty or clean) blankets, Towels whatever she can find. She digs it up later and eats it. I cant tell you how many times ive climed in bed only to find her supper under my blankets. Oh and sometimes the supper may have been a week old when I decide to do laundry and find food in Towels.... she just looks at me grabs it and runs.. Annoying but very very cute!
My holly... she finds it fasinating to lick blankets and floors.... and anything else in her reach. She'll just hold her tounge there too, like she'll lap at the objects then just hold her tounge there. Never figured out why. lol
My chihuahua Jazz likes to hide her chew bones and then forgets where she hides them. My husband is not really a pet person and found one of her bones in his gym bag when he opened it in the locker room at the gym. I bet the guy next to him thought he was a weirdo when he pulled a chew bone out of his bag lol.
My dogs have a few werid things they do and also my cat-
Bentley has to sleep under neath the blankets at night- He crawls all the way down to my feet and sleeps there. and also warm laudnry- i will take it out of the dryer and put it on my living room floor to be folded and he is running along side me to get to the laundry as im walking it to the living room and he will crawl threw it and hide underneath the clothes for a good hour or so- normally i do fold them right away but now with him loving to hang out in the warm clothes i just leave them in a pile for him - also bentley drags around this huge stuffed monkey every where he goes- werid
daisy washes her feet in her water bowl- and also she sleeps well takes naps in the shoe pile- dont know why but shes done this from the time we got her- dont seem to comfy but she likes it-
and ugg our cat- flips his food dish over when hed done- or if he has food left he will cover it up with the mat that his bowl sits on- i thnk he tries to hide if from bentley and daisy- and also ugg sits behind the basement door waiting for it to open so it gets the light reflecting on the walls so he can chase the reflection on the wall- werid cat- for the longest time i didnt know what he was doing he was just staring at the wall i thought he was going crazy but then noticed its the light that moves along the wall that hes waiting for to play with
all my animals are goofy little things and there are tons more werid things they do..lol
My dog hates eating her food when no one is around so every time I give her her food I have to sit down and watch her eat it. I don't mind it though it's funny just watching her eat cause when she goes to drink her water, she like dumps her whole face in the water and then she has water dripping off her fur. Shes a goofball.hehe. Then after shes done I have to go get papertalls and clean up the water mess. From the poodle owner and the poodle that makes the water mess.
Deigo are rott/french mastiff will not drink water unless the bowl is big enough for his 2 front paws to go in. it doesn't matter what the weather is. When it is hot he sticks his head under also to drink.
My Shih tzu is a paper eater. Doesn't matter what kind of paper, she will consume it. I've already lost, edges of newspapers and store receipts that she ate. Strange dog. She will pull all the kleenex out of the box and eat them, if she can reach.
She also ate the fringe off the edge of my scatter rug when I first got her. I came home from work one day and thought that's weird, the fringe from the carpets edge is gone. I thought it was rolled underneath, but it was gone. When I came back in the room, I caught Daisy starting to eat the other end of the rug.
I've never had another dog that ate paper, it's odd, but I have talked to some of my friends with Shih-tzus and they said their dogs will eat paper and / or kleenex also. I did check with the people I got the dog from and they mentioned that, yes, Daisy loves kleenex and paper.
She's not skinny, she gets good dog food. I don't think she is bored, she gets as much exercise as the other dogs in our house.
My Mom's Chihuahua doesn't like to eat by herself. She has such a tiny mouth. Abby carries one or two pieces of her dry kibble in her mouth and brings it out to the living room to eat it. She must make 15 trips back and forth to her doggy bowl before she is full.
For as little as she is, she can crunch as loudly as a big dog. Especially when you are trying to listen to the news on tv.
Cody also has to have me watch him eat his food because when he is done he has to get his goodies, a few pieces of the dental food he is to have, a small carrot and then his ice cube, they have to be in that order too or it isn't right and he will wait until you do it right, he also waits for me to come home from work, take off my shoes and place them on my bed where he will bury his head into them and sniff and lick till I take them away then he jumps up looks at me and he will rub his face back and forth on the bed as if he is wiping that yucky stuff off his face, this always makes me laugh, even my hubby finds this humurous, then if my hubby gives me a kiss (a little too long for Cody's like) or hugs me too long Cody will start barking and pawing trying to break us up and then he wants to be picked up and we have a group hug but he has to be between hubby and me, we aren't allowed to touch. I am sure there are more but this gives you an idea and yes he is very spoiled. :)
my chihuahua crystal.... she does to wierd things.
she has her food in the kitchen and he have hard wood floors and when ever she eats she will carry her food in her mouth and eat it on a carpet. it's really funny.
and the if you give her any type of food other then her doggy food she will try to hide it and save it for later. I have found food in my clothes, couch, chair, behind the table,in corners of rooms,in her crate, behind the computer desk, and anywhere else she can find! even under the couch!
