People, get a grip, the orig. poster said they don't have the money to get the keyboard fixed or to get a new keyboard right now and they are doing what they can. Each of us has to decide what is important to us and it seems that they are doing the right thing. I am sure getting your dog microchipped costs a lot of money and I feel sure they had to do without other things to get it done but that was important to them and I commend them for that. Someone suggested cut and paste, not everyone is aware as to how to do that, some people are doing good just to get on the computer and type let alone all these great things you can do with the computer. My suggestion would be if the posts really annoy you then just plain and simple don't read them. If you do read the post and you are going to respond with only "Get your keyboard fixed or buy a new one" I would suggest not responding at all, they already know they have a problem, no need to keep reminding them, they are aware of it.
Wow, thank you for sharing your story. I wish that people would get all their dogs microchipped. I also really wish is that they would develope a chip with a tracking device.
You would be suprised at the amount of people that think you can actually locate a dog using the chip (as a tracking device). If that lab was shady they could have just 'let it go' and not contacted you.
Did the lab give you the information on the JERK that sold them YOUR dog?? That @##@&* creep needs to be turned in to the police-- or they will continue to steal other people's pets for this terrible end.
Isn't stealing something over a certian monetary amount a felony? Stealing some ones pet to sell to a lab should be a felony no matter what, but generally the law only concerns itself with the 'dollar amount' of an animals 'worth'.
***Also*** Here is the link for Avid Micro-chips. It is very inexpensive to do the chips yourself if you have any medical/vet training. It is just like a very large (VERY VERY large) shot.
Pharoah, thank goodness you got your baby back. That is the real issue here folks, micro-chipping is a very valuable tool to keeping our babies safe, of course monitering them constantly can never be replaced. I'm sure you won't let him out of your sight again. My baby is micro-chipped and I would never let him out without my being there.
As for all those who just want to use this forum to pick on others,(which I have seen a lot of b***ch sessions), get a life, I'm sure the one you have now is not so perfect that you can chastise someone for something so trivial as having to uses dashes.
I've commented on this before so I don't suspect I'll win any popularity contests.
Thats awesome that you got your dog back If I were you I would keep a look out on the neighborhood to make sure no one elses doggies get stolen! What city are you in I just wanna now to see how faraway those lab worker guys are so I would know to be on the lookout in my backyard. Wouldn't want anything to happen to my dog.you don't have to tell me what city you are in it's up to you. my dog is mostly indoors so I would'nt have to worrry as much and if she saw someone in my backyard she would let my family know .I don't trust people that work in labs for pets, they normally hurt the pets and are cruel to them, but I have heard some bad things about them. Well I am really glad that your dog is safely home!
That's what I was thinking. I think it is decided state by state. I think in my state anything over $200 is considered a felony. So, I would guess a Great Dane to be valued over that-- so some one needs to be prosecuted.
Thanks for your post...because of it, I have finally made the decision to get my baby micro-chipped. I have been thinking about it for a while and I guess this was a sign for me to just go ahead and do it!
By the way, don't worry about those rude responses you got, you were trying to be nice and you got picked on. It is pathetic, just know that most of us are not like that.
