Hey there Polly's Mom, Give me a minute, I'm still settling down from that stupid other post stuff. I actually got so upset I am sort of shaking. Silly, I know.
I do have some new pics of Toby but they are on my computer at home. I will try to post them tonight. I tried to put some new pics on his dogster site but had trouble with the sizing. I will try again later. Do you have any new pics? Toby turned 3 on Jan. 14th. He is still the best little guy ever. I can't believe he is 3 already!!!

Wow, she really, really looks just like Toby. Her markings are identical. Toby is cut short now though so at the moment he looks different but right before he went to the groomers, they could have been twins. His ears are not long anymore. I had the groomer taper them into his head so his face looks really round and more puppy like. Plus when his hair is shorter, he looks more white. But he still has the body markings just like Polly. It's so funny. HOw much does she weigh? She looks a bit larger than Toby.
I had the groomer leave her ears longer and her tail because I love how it curls.
Polly's last vet visit she was 8 pounds (at 8 months). I think she is heavier than that, probably 10 lbs. How big is Toby?
When I first saw your pictures of Toby I thought, they must be littermates, then I found out he was older. It's funny because when I first brought her home at 2 months old, she looked more like a Pom, now she is more Maltese.
Question for you...Does Toby eat out of a bowl? I had switched Polly's food twice because I thought she was picky. It turned out that she didn't like bowls at all (I bought 3 different kinds). She now eats out of a saucer.

Lovmypom, I just checked Dogster and apparently one of the new pics I was trying to download DID go in. TWICE....anyway, check out the last pic (scroll down to the bottom) This is after his grooming on Saturday. See what I mean about his ears and face? I took the pic while he was on the bed and I was kneeling down, so it's at an angle and you can't really see his eyes too well but I thought it was pretty cute. http://www.dogster.com/?56140
TOby is 5lbs. fully grown. He's a little guy. You know, that's funny you mentioned the bowl thing. He has always been a fussy eater. I think it's mostly because he's spoiled but that is a great idea to use a saucer. I'm going to try to switch when I get home. He makes such a mess of his beard and face when eating out of a bowl. Right now he has a stainless bowl for food and water. They sit in a wire stand right next to each other and up from the floor a little bit. I use some wet food and mix it with dry but the gravey stuff just ends up all over his face.....ha ha!! Maybe with a saucer he won't need to stick his face so far down in to get the food and be a little neater??? Silly little dog......
I had been using the stainless steel at first also. Then I went to a smaller porcealin bowl. Actually, the saucer is a little bit neater. When I give her a gravy type treat food, her ears and beard get messy - saucer or not.
But when I switched to the saucer, she actually eats more often. So, I knew it was the bowl. Plus, I make her eggs (Saturday mornings) and if I put it in a bowl, she looks almost afraid of it, so it's the saucer for life - lol.
Aw, she is sooo cute. Her ears are so adorable like that. Toby did not look nearly as white before he got groomed. It's really amazing how different he looks according to his haircut. I'll bet if you had Polly cut short, she would be alot more white also. Toby's ears had lots of the darker colors before grooming.
