on shutting down puppymills.Has anyone here had any dealings with the below mentioned, please contact David to be interviewd for this story, help shut Brushy creek down .
Hello all, I am an investigative news producer for a local TV station in Houston, Texas. I am looking into the very controversial Brushy Creek Kennel in Hockley, Texas. I have reviewed dozens of complaints against Brushy Creek at the Better Business Bureau in Houston. To proceed, I need to hear from people in the Houston-area who have had a bad experience with Brushy Creek. We cannot expose this alleged puppy mill without help from the public. We need people who are willing to be interviewed for our story. I have read a great deal about Brushy Creek on this site and need to learn more about the lawsuit that was supposedly filed against the kennel. It was mentioned on one thread and then dropped from discussion.
So please, please contact me if you have any information on Brushy Creek. They are still selling puppies every day and will continue to produce heart-breaking stories until they are exposed. Please help us.

To get the largest possible audience, it will likely air during a newscast that comes on right after "American Idol."
We are currently scheduling interviews with people wronged by the kennel. Thanks to Villette and others, we are lining up some really strong interviews that will be an essential part of telling this story. I can't thank the folks here at YT enough for all your help and support. I hope the finished product will make you proud. I will alert this board to the airdate and time when the final schedule comes out. For those outside the Houston area, you will be able to see the story on our website: www.myfoxhouston.com
Our top investigative reporter, Randy Wallace, will be conducting the interviews and putting the story together. He is an award-winning journalist who is relentless when it comes to companies that take advantage of people's emotions and finances.
While I don't have a Yorkie, I am a dog-owner (a 5-year-old pug) and know how you feel about this scam. I will keep you updated. Thanks again for all the help and I continue to encourage Houston-area people who have been harmed by Brushy Creek to contact me.
David Hi Everyone, Just wanted to let everyone know that we have one interview in the can and two more coming up including a satellite interview. But we would still like others in the Houston-area to come forward to be part of the story. If we want viewers to be outraged, we need as many people as possible in our area to speak up. We don't want people to watch the news story and say, "Well, it looks like only a couple people are that upset by the kennel, so it must not be that big of a deal." Unfortunately, appearances are everything in television. We can talk forever about the complaints at the Better Business Bureau or the comments on Yorkie Talk, but in TV, seeing is believing. If you know someone in the Houston-area who was wronged by Brushy Creek, please encourage them to contact me and set up an interview as soon as possible. It's quick, easy and could make a world of difference in the future of this puppy mill.
Don't get me wrong. We are putting together a very effective and compelling story. But that alone will not necessarily bring the attention needed to stop this operation. As a TV news producer, I am confident our story will be great. As a dog owner, I want it to be better than great. I want it to make a difference. I will continue to post updates. Thanks to everyone! And if I can figure out how this works, I've attached a picture of my pug, Gracie.
