As a owner of a breed which is prone to ear infections, I would recommend that you follow your vet's advice and use of the prescriptions. You were only there yesterday and you're stating that the medicine isn't working. I would say that is a premature rush to judgement. I don't know what type of meds you are using. But the meds I have used before in the past leave my IS ears oily but they heal up. I would follow the protocol of the vet.
Take care of MY Laredo's ears!!... (btw - any new pics?)
I agree - you need to use the medicine that the vet gave you. Most ear meds are oily - the oil tends to break down the "crud" in the ear. Charley has ear infections quite often and trust me... you don't want to let it go....
I would recommend trying Blue Power Ear Treatment, it can be found on my website email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will send the link. Roth my pointer used to have to be given otemax on a daily basis, now I just clean his ears with this stuff once a week, and no more problems. You can buy all that is needed at Walmart or the like and mix it up yourself, it costs about $5.00 for a pint of solution, the stuff lasts a long time, and most important IT WORKS!!!
