A "report" option

I was a mod on a board that had a "report" option... so when someone got out of hand a member could hit "report" and explain why they felt that the post was offensive or against the rules. An email was sent to each of the mods and then we could take care of it. Since we, as mods tended to avoid some of the members - it made it easier to only have to go onto those posts if someone was offended.
I don't know if there is that capability here - but it sure would be nice... especially since we can't tell who's online now.

Very good idea. There were a few posts today that I wished I could have reported. Someone came on and blatently advertised their puppy for sale, another was advertising some kind of medicine / cure all.

With so many categories to cover and just a 1/2 dozen or so mods, plus all the work moving posts - I am sure ADMIN could use some extra eyes patrolling the boards for those types of posts.

I would also be nice if when people weren't on line the pm charectors (sp) were black and white. Then when they are on line it could be in color.

Then you would know who is on line and who isn't. Yahoo's group pages are kind of like that. They let you know who is on line and who isn't though the pm option button.

Since I know that not knowing who is on line and who isn't is almost the number one complaint, or at least the one I've heard the most.

Just a thought.

lol that'd be nice. a lot of other things would be nice too..

i noticed that as much as this forum looks complicated and "high tech", it's still very primitive and inefficient.. not to mention i can't see who's on anymore.
