We have a 6 1/2 week old little shih-poo. She is currently still on the wet food that the breeder gave us. Should we start feeding her dry food and if so, what is a good process that won't upset her stomach. Also, when do you think it is appropriate for her to only eat two meals a day?? If I were you I would slowly start feeding her the dry dog food along with the regular food that u are alredy feeding her. since ur dog is a small dog i would not reccomend feeding her twice a day,she is most likely to become over weight. I have a miny toy poodle and I feed her only once a day about half a cup of dog food around 4:00 or 5:00 pm and she is at the wieght a poodle should be. About once a week she will get little IAMS dental bones for her teeth. If u do end up feeding ur dog twice a day i would reccomend giving her lots of excercise.
