My sister's dog has been peeing in the house and he is 9 years old, we took him to the vet's and they can't seem to know what is wrong with him, if anyone here had the same problem can you tell me what was wrong w/him or her.
Well if he has been checked out by a vet to be healthy, one thing that could be a problem, is your sister is not cleaning up his urine fully. She needs to buy something like Simple Solution, or Natures Miracle. These products have enzyme killing ingrediants that rids the smell of urine. You have to allow it to soak into the spot. Also tell her to try a belly band.
Whoever said you can't buy happiness, must have never owned a dog!!!!!!!!!!!
Moving? Death? New member of the family? Vacation of primary care giver?
Believe it or not a change in normal day to day routine can upset your dog.
Right after my dad passed away my moms dog was urinating in the house. She did take him to the vet but everything checked out fine. After a couple months he finally stopped doing it. We believe that my dad's absence had an effect on him. He had also done it when my dad was in the hospital.
If it continues and the area is being properly cleaned (with a pet enzyme cleaner) another vet visit might be in order.
