I was looking at this at the store the other day and wa wondering how effective it is and if it really works? Has anyone ever tried it? Notice any side effects, heard any stories? Wondering if you really do have to give it daily (as it said on the package that you can give daily if needed) If it really begin killing them within 30 minutes, i there a reason you would have to give it agian in a day....maybe once any eggs hatched since I think it only kills the adults.
People are like slinky's, not really good for much. But its still fun to push them down the stairs.
Yeah it isn't a pill I'd give every day. I'd give it to a dog that's just coming into a rescue or household, especially one that's susspected to have fleas. Then use advantage, advantix or frontline from there on out. I've personally never heard of anyone using them every day... and as giving 1 eveyr day for a month woudl be so much more expensive than a single dose of the tpical ones, not really sure why anyone would bother.
Never trust a tall dwarf... he's lying about something.
I know our vet uses it on dogs that come in with an infestation, then follows it with Frontline or Advantix for maintenance. I don't think you would use it as a regular flea control, though, just in extreme cases.

Question - I have a family in Florida that is having trouble with their Sheltie and fleas... They are using Frontline Plus right now... Anything else more effective? And does anyone know what the best product is to get rid fleas from the environment (beds, toys, etc...)
I don't have a flea problem where I'm at - just ticks - so I don't know the answer for her... I'm going to call my vet on Monday and ask her opinion, but thought I'd start here!
