Today while feeding Dundee, I discovered that Dundee seemed somewhat anxious and even a little frightened. I looked around, expecting to see a bird at the window sill or maybe even a vacuum cleaner sitting out in the living room. But to my amazement, I found no such things. Dundee continued to eat, but periodically lifted his head, looked right, looked left, and then looked right again, and after he was sure that this hidden predator wasn't going to pounce him while he had his face in his bowl eating his Puppy Chow, he continued eating. After Dundee finished eating, I took his leash off and let him walk around the house. However, he was very hesitant in going inside the living room. Then, it happened. Dundee finally mustered up the courage to take on his foe. He snuck through the kitchen very slow and low to the ground, then pounced! The enemy smacked against the wall and landed on the ground with a loud thud. Dundee jumped back about 2 feet and whimpered. I feared for my dog's life. The vicious enemy sat there in silence, possibly contemplating it's next attack. Dundee swiftly ran away and into his kennel. No, it wasn't a grizzly bear or a tiger, it was something MUCH worse. It was...it was...a broom.
