I have a one and a half year old puggle Lucky. She is the cutest most loveable dog, yet i have had a hard time potty training her. she is in her crate all day while i am at work. she goes to the bathroom before i leave and then when i get home. she then goes out about 2 more times before i go to sleep. i let her sleep with me because otherwise she would be in the crate all night and day, and i have a hard time doing that. however, thru the night she will have accidents, she goes pretty much in the same spot every night. also, she still has a few accidents here and there when she's around the house. she rarely lets me know that she needs to go out. does anyone have any advice?? she's done great with crate training and knows basic commands, but the potty training thing has been such a struggle
My suggestion...um...positive reinforcement. When ever your puggle needs to go potty then take the puggle outside and tell him/her that they’re a good dog and give him/her a treat. Sooner then later your puggle will get it and want to go outside.
