I have a 4 month old min pin and she was originally put on an expensive food that I do not even know the name of. We are now trying to wean her off and give her a cheaper food so we don't go broke. It is called Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lover's soul. The people at the store we get it at say it is a good food, but it's so cheap and I feel like I'm depriving my dog of something by giving her cheaper food.
Chicken soup is a good food. Maybe not the best best, but it's good. Probably the cheapest among the 'good' foods. My cats are on half Chicken soup half Natures Variety, they are doing very well. If your puppy likes it, I'd say stick with it.

I feed Chicken Soup to my Italian Greyhound and he does wonderful on it. I will go get the bag later and post the ingrediants but I know the first one is Chicken, then I think Duck, Salmon and some other good stuff. Anyway, Taters stools are always really well formed and never diareaha or loose stools, excellent quality coat and get comments on it all the time and plus he loves it and eats it like candy. My mom has an Italian Greyhound too although I am not sure what she is feeding him right now but its not Chicken Soup but I am sure its quality if my mom feeds it to Tucker but it gives him GAS big time and they call him the cabbage dog, Chicken Soup doesnt seem to do that to Tater. But it keeps him in excellent shape.
