Hello eveyone... this is the new bee and I would like to ask if any of you have had a fundraiser for your rescue organizations? (I am doing the project to benefit a rescue along with my Ecological Perspective class the goal is to get the community/children more involved in rescue awarness) We have been approved to hold the function at a local park Some ideas we have had: 1.) A raffle of a big basket filled with doggy/owner delights $1 a ticket 2.) Face painting for the children. 3.) Hot Dog and Hamburgers water 4.) A game of toss the doggy/kitty beanie baby into a big paw (made out of plywood)
The problem is I really haven't thought of any child safe toys for the event? Any suggestions as all I can think of are maybe animal shaped balloons? Other ideas welcome.
Thanks all Ashley

We have had bake sales, sold hearts for $1, $5, or $10 near Valentine's Day (Or which ever holiday is near...we raised about $1700 in about 2 weeks this year!). We aslo have a day you can bring in your animal for a toenail clipping for $5.00. All proceeds benefit our local animal charities. We sell catnip pillows and mats...and other stuff as well.
