Hello All - I have to kennel Baxter while I'm on vacation and am clueless as what to look for in a good kennel. I got a recommendation from a friend and plan on visiting them on Wedneday. Can you give me some ideas as to what I should ask and what I should look for?
So far I know that they let them out every 3 hours. Feed them in the mornings and let them socialize until they find a buddy and then they keep the buddies close together so that they don't get depressed.
My goal in life is to be as good of a person as my dog already thinks I am - unknown
I would make sure they require *the Kennel Cough shot*, I think it may be called Bordatella, (most do now) as a friend's gorgous young standard poodle passed away from this. I forget the exact name of it but deff something you want to look into.
Also we like them to have a vets office close, or at least know what vet they use or will take them to in case of emergency.
