Zoey (FKA Princess)came to us from a somewhat local humane society shelter. She is a six month old Lab/Rottie mix. Her former owners got her from a friend and kept her outside. They turned her in because she jumped on their children (ages 4, 8, 10) and scared them. Another great example of thinking through before taking on a rambunctious little girl. I have had her for one week and this past weekend took her to Durham North Carolina where where my daughter's field hockey team participated in a clinic given by the Duke University Women's Field Hockey Team. I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to socialize Zoey and do some training. She is the best dog. She rode the whole way down and back without incident, was able to be left for short periods and was a good girl. She did alot of meeting and greeting, walking and playing. I had three of the field hockey girls in our hotel room and Zoey was loving life. We are so lucky to have found her.
I'll add some when I get home. I'm at work right now and we have this software on our network that blocks certain websites and photobucket is one of them. I can't believe they don't want you playing while you are supposed to be working. I did edit and add her Dogster page. I have two good pictures there for now.
