OMG!! I can't believe that. It is absolutely horrible!!! I know there are dangers to breeding and raising dogs, but I would have never thought that something like that could happen. I feel so bad for the family. They were terrorized on top of losing a member of their family which is traumatizing enough. Prayers go out to the family. I hope they catch the men who did this!!!
I'm relieved that they had security cameras set up..and only ten days before hand!! Hopefully this will encourage other breeders to set up cameras, and maybe down the road it will discourage future thieves.
It looks like, between the inside cameras and the outside cameras, that they'll be able to get decent shots of their faces and hopefully someone will step forward with information.
I hope that this case is treated as a priority, and they are all returned.
OMG..that just makes me sick! Why are people so bad...I just hate it! Those poor puppies, and the poor family. I would just be sick if someone took Lacy away from me. I really hope these men are caught and the puppies and especially Mommy are returned back to the family. I'm really worried about their safety since they were stuffed into a plastic bag. I watched the video and those puppies were trying so hard to get away. The mom was trying to jump out of the way and hide. I bet she was terrified. Someone needs to stuff those men in a plastic bag and let them suffacate to death.
OMG my aunt told me about that and right now i just saw the video of them taking them....HOW SAD, and i cant believe they actually took the mother too. Why would people like that do such a cruel thing? That is defentitely not right. :(
all animals always need a chance to have a place they can call home. ADOPT A TRUE FRIEND!
that is sick! Do you think they took the puppys to sell for the money? or to keep? its just like that one crazy women that went in to this ladys house bcasue she seen the pink stork baby sign in this familys front yard- a sign saying baby girl or something but this women went in and stole the baby and slit the mothers throat. I have heard that they say not to put these signs in your yard- i coudlnt believe that when i heard it and this is what i thought of when reading the story about the baby yorkies- it takes a sick person to go in and steal puppys- why? and then to shove them in a plastic bag? gosh i hope they all made it threw that - im sure they are probably sold already. Ppl need to work for their money instead of stealing ppls things exspecially a family pet and her pups- i hope they find these men and put them away for a long time- do you ever think they will find the pups? im saying im sure they are sold but do you think they will get them back for the family? just sad-
It is because of reasons like this that society is falling apart. These helpless people are doing nothing but selling their pups and to be held at gunpoint is unheard of. I for one will not ever again invite people to look at my pups.I will meet them at a neutral spot and if that isnt good enough them my pups are not good enough for them.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the
This could touch off copycat crimes and probably will. People selling pets of any type for a lot of money should think twice about how they show them to the public (maybe not at their homes) and their security when they do so. I hope the dogs are okay, the poor things.
I saw this on CNN Headline News last night! I guess the family was selling the pups for $2500 each...4 pups x $2500=$10,000. The thing is though, if those pups were registered, the thieves can't get the registration papers, and plus, what the heck will they say to the people that may want to buy them about the parents' pedigrees, titles, etc.; if they even think that far ahead. Obviously they didn't do the best planning, I mean, a plastic bag! I will no longer advertise the price I sell the Newfie pups for, that's for sure!
The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of thier dreams.
this sort of thing happens more then people realize. valuable dogs are stolen right out of peoples yards. someone on my french bulldog forum, had their dog stolen . the dog was in a yard with a ten foot , locked security gate. i never just let my dogs out into the yard, even though it is securely fenced. i take them out myself.
my dogs are like my children. if someone bust into my home and tried to steal my dogs, gun or no gun, they would have to fight or shoot me , before they would get out the door with them.
If you are a dog and your owner suggests that you wear a sweater, suggest that he wear a tail.
Me and my mom found a rottie. When we took it to are vet to get her scaned for a chip she had one. They called the owners and they said someone broke into there house by going in the sliding glass door. The only thing that was taken was there dog. We found her 23 miles from were they lived.
This makes me sick to my stomach too. What on earth is going to happen next. This world is full of so many low lifes it is getting scary. Who would have thought in a million years something like that would happen. Hope they don't harm them in any way. Gosh, how sickening.
That poor family. I would be absolutely devestated if someone took my dogs. of course they do not exactly have the appeal of a purebred as they are mutts--but they are pretty darn cute! I agree with Dusty, if you take my dogs it will be over my dead body. I know that they would protect me with their lives and i owe it to them to do the same.
I bet the pups are going to be sold (with or without papers) and the mother will be sold to a puppymill or bred by the captors (although I do not think they are bright enough to breed dogs, so probably will just sell her.) God thats sick. I agree with whoever said that humans are their least favorite animal. Calling a human a dog is the best complement I think you can give anyone...Hey, next time one of my students calls me a B***h, I guess I should take it as a complement! (I am student teaching high school math right now...apparently, math is not a well recieved subject!)
He's your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You're his life, his love, his leader. He will be faithful and true to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion
I saw that someone posted on Myspace that there had been a lot of tips on the puppynappers, and the guy turned himself in to the police. Three of the puppies and the mother dog were returned, but one puppy is still missing. I'm sure once the police question him, we'll get more info about the missing pup. I'm so glad the family got most of them back!
