I just contacted Diamond directly by phone and they are NOT effected by the recall. Please PEOPLE if you post something on the internet as fact, check it out a little bit. This is a big website that you are throwing your misinformation around.
Boxers are like cookies you can't have just one :)
Do you personally have stock in Diamond food? Wowee.
Even if people were wrong about a recall, so what? With all of the tragic deaths and illnesses of the recent food scares, Is it so wrong to be on the safe side? I only have the two dogs you know, and I personally wouldn't want to deal with a company that is involved in a cover up over something as serious as my pets well being.
I watched a hilarious Penn and Teller BS the other night about dogs and it made me think of so many breeders on this site.
Jeanine, I think you are a bit cranky with all those litters you have to deal with day in and day out. You are such a workaholic. But, tp shouldn't be the place where you bring all your personal, home life drama girl.
Speaking of which, I don't think you have received the pat on the back you are in for on this momentous occasion...Congratulations on your micro mini yorkie litter! I know you have been looking forward to this litter for a while.
Instead of being little miss know it all with the offbeat, quirky opinions and closet full of skeletons, now it is all hanging out there in the breeze while you are just getting as rude as you blame others of being for not agreeing with your opinion. Take care, and get yourself a warm hug or something to fill that void you have within.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
The only type of dog I don't breed are the kinds that aren't cute. LOL.
Here is CHAMPION SIRED GIZMO..... he is the cutest, but since he is a boy I am not keeping him. 7 weeks old, 13 oz..... probably he is a micro-mini-teacup so save up your money folks. Note the short 'BABYDOLL' muzzle.
Gee whiz, we had our Setters tested and have the paperwork to prove it. I guess we are an exception to the rule. Then again, we have real jobs and don't make our living off the uteruses of defenseless animals. But, then again, its just my humble opinion.
I like him a lot better than I like most people. To you he's a dog. TO me he's an adopted son who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly. I have no problem with any of these. <
when did things change for you alicat ? it was not that long ago that you were speaking out against designer breeders and breed mixing. now you are doing the very same thing that you preached against. were you mix and matching at the same time you were speaking out to others against doing it? what changed your mind about practicing responsible breeding ? you do not do any health testing at all. you are breeding yorkies that are well below the size standard ( cant be too healthy for the pups) and you are breeding mixes. how can anyone here not think anything other than you are doing it for the money. your roflmao remark is far from funny. nothing you are doing to any of your dogs is even remotely funny, or maybe i just dont understand the joke.
If you are a dog and your owner suggests that you wear a sweater, suggest that he wear a tail.
LOL to Pope, my lovely stalker. Should I be worried? Actually I still make the most money per boxer puppy. Hate to burst bubbles. I do like Yorkies though, I thought I liked pugs. Probably not though.
Irish !!!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! It is plausible that your dogs MAY be some of the 10,000 Irish setters that have been tested for hips over the past 30 years. Anything else in the battery of blanket testing that TP people want....I would like proof.
My lord people don't listen. Not even DIRECTLY from the OFA website. People don't test.
To those of you who OBVIOUSLY don't know much about yorkies-- my girl Ginger is JUST under 5 lbs. Her sire IS a Champion. I bred her WITH A 3.5 POUND CHAMPION. I looked in to 5-7 CHAMPION STUD DOGS.
IN FACT THERE IS NO MINIMUM WEIGHT STANDARD FOR YORKIES. ONLY A MAXIMUM. So a correct 3.5 lb. yorkies has a better chance of a Champion Title than a 7.1 oz yorkie. Why? Anything over 7.0 pounds is a disqualification, so 7.1 would be disqualified.
I looked in to 6-7 CHampion males from separate breeders. Many older, who have been showing/breeding for longer than we have been alive. I talked to some younger people with CHampion males. What did they all have in common with their 'Champion males?' THEY WEREN'T HEALTH TESTED.
Would it even do any good to test a Bitch if you can't find a quality dog that is tested? Don't answer that... it will all sound like blah blah blah and I will just skip over it.
Boxers are like cookies you can't have just one :)
Alicat, since you don't really have any experiance with showing Yorkies, I can tell you for a fact the 3.5 dog has less chance of winning. Those that are closest to the larger size are currently winning in the ring. I know this because I have been in the Yorkie ring. And the 3.5 pound dog will look out of place.
And as far as nobody doing testing, well if my scanner was working I could send you copies of stacks and stacks of testing from my dogs. And even if no one else is testing, I am going to continue to test.
He's your friend, your partner, your defender your dog.You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours faithful and true to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to worthy of such devotion
Sorry but all I hear is "these people don't do this, and I don't either, but nobody is mad at them so I'm just doing what makes me happy regardless of how unethical it really is". Sounds about right, anyway.
I make it a point to let people know not to buy from breeders who throw around their sales as if their dogs are pots of gold. Luckily, I don't believe I am in the area of the OP, therefore I don't have to explain to any of the people I know that are interested in Boxers or Yorkshire Terriers not to go to her for a pup. I'll consider myself lucky in that aspect, as well as in the aspect of having decent, ethical views and common sense.
Dogs cannot sin; that is a privilege exclusively for humans.
Wow Ali, what a change 24 hours can make....so how are you going to dispose of your Pugs? I'm sure not to a Pug rescue because then you wouldn't make any money off of them....
By the way do you keep your Yorkies in a closet? Are you going to start mixing Shitzu's too like a good miller? Funny how we keep uncovering more skeletons from your dirty "laundry".
Ali, we know you love the attention & have some very serious issues. Not saying that to be mean.....seriously why don't you get yourself checked out & on some meds so you can see what you are doing to these poor animals....... Oh never mind...that's right, you like the meds for recreation...it helps you miss the faults in your dogs like missing poop holes, huge swollen bellies & refusal to eat, wondering why the breath smells funny.
Can't stand the heat?.....Don't tickle the Dragon!
Maybe I am stupid but why would a person who wants to be the best breeder they can be choose to ignore health testing because no one else is doing it? You know ali...it doesn't make your point for you...it shows your complete disregard for this thing you claim to love...breeding dogs. Wait a minute...I'm wrong...you don't love dogs you do it for the money....nevermind....
