haha, my new puppy has the EXACT same problem. I'm trying this liquid breath freshener that you put in water right now. Its from healthypetnet.com But it takes like two weeks to take effect, so I don't know if it actually works yet or not, but his breath does seem better. Try dental bones, if you haven't already. Nutrident, or Greenies. Z-Ridge bones are supposidely supposed to be better than Greenies, but I'm not going to try them. Otherwise, a lot of websites have breath sprays. One's supposed to work really well, but costs $50, I might try it if I get a Crested with horrible teeth. taha. Otherwise, Petrodex breath sprays, I was going to get some if the liquid freshener and brushing my dog's teeth and dental chews didn't do the trick alone. Just do some research, the sprays only cost like 4 or 6 bucks, for the cheapest one. OH, they have breath mints as well for dogs, never tried those myself, though.
You can brush her teeth, feed her a high quality dry food, give her bones to help break down tartar... There is also a really freat gal in California who does non-anthestetic teeth cleaning, she goes around the US her name is Dolly? maybe I have used her before. Try to find a local non-anthestetic doggie dentist.
A cat by any other name... is still a sneaky little furball who pukes on the sofa.
My First puppy had HORRIBLE breath...Come to find out, he was losing his baby teeth and there was an adult tooth AND a baby tooth in one place. It looked like a snaggle tooth...after he lost the baby tooth, he lost the bad breath. If your dog is still a pup, maybe check to see if he has lost all of his baby teeth. It may be that...and then you just have to wait.
I would be looking for a broken or rotten tooth. There could possiably be an abcess and if left untreated could result in more serious problems. If you are unable to examine the dogs mouth effectly by yourself, then you need to see the help of a professional. I had a dog that had a $850 root canal done to save a broken tooth.
He's your friend, your partner, your defender your dog.You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours faithful and true to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to worthy of such devotion
Maybe try putting fruits and veggies in his food, to make it healthier. And try brushing your doggies teeth, they have doggy breath mints. Dogs can eat carrots, apples, raspberries, strawberries and more. Don't feed your dog tooo much, he might barf you never know.
