Yesterday, my neighbor found this beautiful calico colored cat. This cat had a red nylon collar with a tag but, the tag only had the cats name on it (blue snow). Whats the point of getting a tag for your pet, if your only going to put the name on it, that does absolutely nothing to help the person get your pet back home to you. We'll anyways, my neighbor Laura, refuses to put flighers up because she is head over heels in love with this cat and she does not want to see it go. I don't want to get in Laura's business so I just dropped the subject and went home. Isn't that just wrong to not put flighers up for a found cat, because it is obvious that the cat has a home, being that it has a collar on. And if Laura is supposed to try and return the cat to his real owner but refuses to, what do I do? Should I get a picture of the cat myself and put flighers around or just let Laura sit back and do nothing. I don't want to get in her business, after all she is the one who found the cat not me, so maybe I should just let it go. Please help me out here. Thanks -mypoodlerocks
Id go door to door to see if anyone is missing their kitty. And if your friend let the cat back outside, I'm sure it would go home, maybe its an outdoor cat. Its wrong to keep an animal that isn't yours, ask your friend how she would feel is someone took her cat and didn't bother to find her. Call the vet/pound and see if anyone has reported a missing cat. Being calico with a nylon collar, it wouldn't be hard to identify her (you may not need a pic). Do what you think is best and what you would want someone to do if they found your dog.
ok thanks boggle. Two days ago i was walking the dogs and I saw a fligher up and it said missing cat, and it looked just like the cat my neighbor found, so I went to her door and gave her the fligher and she called the owners telling them she had their cat and now the cat is home safely (finally) :)
